-
Environment: Apply at room temperature (68–75ºF).
-
Preparation: Grande Finale is a top coat. After you have prepped, applied a base coat, and decorated your tumbler, it’s time for Grande Finale.
-
Application: You can apply Grande Finale by hand or with a soft bristled brush. Apply evenly over the project, then you can let it self-level. If you are applying over glitter, use 400 grit (or higher) sandpaper to level-sand every 3 to 4 coats to take down the high spots and smooth it out. Clean up sanding dust by wiping your tumbler with CrystaLac Surface Conditioner and using a lint-free rag.
-
Recoat Time: Your tumbler will be dry to the touch in about an hour, but wait 2 hours between coats. Use a minimum of 6 coats for best protection. Continue building your coats until it's completely smooth. Use as many coats as desired to build your gloss. Each layer will add depth and shine. A matte sheen can be accomplished by coating the last 2-3 layers with Grande’ Finale Matte.
-
Cure Time: Cups can be gently used after 5 days. Full hardness will develop over a period of 5-30 days, depending on how many coats were used, the products involved, as well as environmental conditions. Tumblers should be hand-washed and not left to soak in water during the curing process.
Important: Store your Grande' Finale at room temperature. Do not freeze or allow to get hot.
